The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed with regards to the high variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The support stage here created for intervention activities a large influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard SRD for your Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to permit the servicing sassa status check of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
